February 26, 2010	BAGAMOYO ROAD RACE OFFICIALLY APPROVED The Bagamoyo Race Through History, a road running competition scheduled for 31st July 2010, has now officially been sanctioned by the Athletic Federation of Tanzania (AT) and Pwani Region Athletics body. This follows a letter sent to us earlier this month from the national athletics body. The event is also added on the Event Calender of AT.

January 11, 2010	INVITATION FLYER, ENTRY FORM FOR BAGAMOYO RACE THROUGH HISTORY The invitation flyer with basic details and entry form for the planned historic running event in Bagamoyo are now found here in our website under the "Downloads" page. The invitation flyer contains information in Kiswahili and English. Simply click the element you wish for and then save, print and/or forward the link to your acquaintances whom might be interested in participating. Bagamoyo Race Through History is set for Saturday 31st July, 2010.

January 8, 2010	BAGAMOYO RACE THROUGH HISTORY ON 31st JULY, 2010 In collaboration with, among others, Chemundu & Mbega Arts of Bagamoyo, Shemweta Invest AB - Tanzania Branch Office are organizing yet another interesting running event in a historical town of Bagamoyo. The event that goes with a brand name Bagamoyo Race Through History indeed clarifies itself as it will pass through several historical sites such as Kaole ruins, Old German Boma, Old Church Tower, etc. Preparations have already began through contacts with Athletics Tanzania (the National Athletics Body) and Bagamoyo District Administration. Bagamoyo Race Through History is set for 31st July, 2010. Welcome and further this event with us!

December 26, 2009	ZIAM 2009 RESULTS AND SLIDE SHOW The results from ZIAM 2009 are now found here (Download page) and few snapshots from the race are displayed here (slide show page).

December 13, 2009	ZIAM 2009 ON AIR AGAIN! The Zanzibar International Athletics Meeting, ZIAM Road race was once again aired for the second time this week by the ITV, this time through a popular weekend sports program known as "Tamasha la Michezo". The relatively long coverage, interviews and on-spot happenings that nourished the event were experienced through the media.

December 10, 2009	ZIAM 2009 ON AIR! The Zanzibar International Athletics Meeting, ZIAM - Road Race was aired this morning in the news bulletin of ITV, one of the leading TV stations in Tanzania. The news denoted ZIAM as one of the preparatory trials prior to coming major championships for several participants.

December 6, 2009	A SUCCESSFUL ZIAM HELD AT MAISARA A very successful Zanzibar International Athletics Meeting, ZIAM - Road Race, took place yesterday at Maisara Golf (KMKM play grounds). Participants included children, elite runners and a number or Tanzania elite runners - women and men as well as a Member of Parliament Hon. Haji Mwita Haji who ran 5 km race. Mayor of Zanzibar, Hon. Mahboub Juma, served as the Guest Of Honour for ZIAM as Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Sports Hon. Mahmoud Thabit Kombo attended an official trip to Tanga region. However, sports officers from the Ministry and The Zanzibar National Sports Council were present at ZIAM and expressed their gratitudes for the efforts made to orchestrate ZIAM. More information and photos will be displayed soon. Zanzibar Amateur Athletics Association (ZAAA) and Shemweta Invest AB co-organized the race.
